Records of lawyers' license fees, 1923-1930.

Section 6230 of the 1923 Code of Ala. required that all lawyers who had practiced for at least two years pay an annual ten dollars fee to be members of the State Bar. This ten dollars was paid to the State Treasurer who kept the record of who had paid. This series consists of the list of those lawyers who have paid. The series provides the date, name of lawyer, county and city, and the ten dollar fee paid.
